1) Donald Trump has absolutely no, zero, nada relevant experience.

Some of the worst aspects of Donald Trump’s Presidency were his daily pathological lying, his management of the government of the world’s largest economy using 280 character twitter tweets, the chaos he created in the White House and its affect on the government and policy decisions; and probably worst of all, his bombastic personality constantly attacking national and international leaders and institutions.

The pathological lying began on the day of his inauguration when he insisted despite incontrovertible video evidence to the contrary that the crowds at his inauguration were larger than Barack Obama’s. And his lying continued for four years to the very end of his presidency when he declared himself the winner of the 2020 election with absolutely no evidence.

In terms of character as well as policy, here is a quote from the following Time article, “All of the character traits that Trump’s critics most feared are present — including his petty corruption, his temperamental unfitness, and his rank incompetence.”

More recently in regards to the Congressional Jan 6th Panel’s revelations that Donald Trump sat watching television while the MAGA mob attacked the Capital Building, the following editorials were posted.

NY Post Editorial quote from the following opinion, “It’s up to the Justice Department to decide if this is a crime. But as a matter of principle, as a matter of character, Trump has proven himself unworthy to be this country’s chief executive again.”

The policy chaos of the Trump White House was personified by the Republican Party’s lack of a Party Platform at the 2020 Party Convention which was substituted with a statement that the Republican Party supported Donald Trump. A Republican Party Platform with actual policy goals was not deemed relevant with Donald Trump as their leader. Just to reiterate from Reason #6: President Trump’s only notable legislative success in four years was a tax cut with 60% of the savings going to the top 20% earners and a 40% cut in corporate taxes.

Ronald Reagan is alternately lionized for being the father of modern conservative economics, winning the cold war and his famous West Berlin speech, “Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall,” and pilloried for being a grade-b actor turned president. The undisputed truth is that Ronald Reagan was Governor of California for eight years before he was elected President of the United States.

There is a huge difference between profitably managing a few prime real estate properties and running a government responsible for one of the largest economies in the world. The American and global economies are still recovering from the Great Recession the Obama administration inherited in 2009 and despite Donald Trump’s negative view the American economy has been leading this recovery. Is now the time when the American voter should decide to elect the most unqualified candidate in American history?
