6) Donald Trump’s candidacy consists of outrageous and outlandish sound bites completely devoid of rational policies and plans.

What about that wall that Mexico was not going to pay for? Not much to talk about except that President Trump pardoned Steve Bannon, chief strategist in Trump’s early Presidency who returned to Breitbart News and was indicted for fraud for misusing, personal use of donations to a “We Build the Wall” fund-raising campaign.

More to the point though is President Trump’s only notable legislative success was a tax cut with 60% of the savings going to the top 20% earners and a 40% cut in corporate taxes. These tax cuts increased the Federal Deficit in 2017 to $665 Billion and 2018 to $779 Billion vs 2014 $485 Billion and 2015 $442 Billion. The theory of the tax cuts was that they would pay for themselves with economic growth. The actual results were that the deficits also grew as a percentage of GDP in 2017 to 3.4% and 2018 3.8% vs 2014 2.8% and 2015 2.4%.

6) Donald Trump’s candidacy consists of outrageous and outlandish sound bites completely devoid of rational policies and plans.

Does anyone actually believe that Donald Trump has thought through his stated goal of deporting eleven million illegal aliens. He makes a forceful point as long a no one thinks about the people, the process, the law, the economic repercussions and many other key factors and consequences that a true leader would consider before opening his/her mouth.

Trump’s comments on building the absolute best wall and having Mexico pay for it is another example of pure sound and absolutely no logic. Put simply, Mexico will not pay for Donald’s wall. Does Trump have any analysis that his wall is an effective solution to border control and the most cost efficient? His arguments are an insult to the current Border Patrol, Americans doing a difficult job every day and funded at the level deemed appropriate by the Republican Congress.
